Re: Do you wish to see lithium batteries added to class rules?

Water Pump

I don't think I got 300 hours out of my new seawater pump before it started leaking through the weep hole. Going drip drip rather fast.

Re: Gebo Portlight Replacement Parts

Wow, this was one of the quickest projects I have ever done, with a difficulty level of almost zero. The 291 is a pleasure to clean up, unlike 4200

Spending some time in the rear of my 109, I noticed a blower is constantly running.

Is that normal? Is it tempurature controlled?

And ... only one venue in recent memory, Pequot, demonstrated an aptitude for measuring weight to the satisfaction of skippers and crews.

Re: What is best way to make inhauler low friction rings removable?

Yes, we have done this (rig an ouboard lead), which is great for reaching more than 45 AWA. I thought to use the new Harken block instead of a low friction ring, to have the ability to detach entirely from our inhauler without rigging an additional line, as our inhauler when released goes about 8 ...

Best way to prevent spinnaker sail snaging blocks on spin pole

Any solutions?

Should we be collapsing the pole first maybe, instead of releasing the tack line first?

What is best way to make inhauler low friction rings removable?
