I’m currently in the market for a J/109. Of course, I’ve checked online listings but would always prefer to find someone local.
I’ve been sailing for 7-8yr now and crewing for various boats out of Montrose the last 4-5yr. I’m hoping to take the next step to race my own boat since I’m convinced that would be the fastest way to learn and improve. The J/109 is a reasonable compromise with my family since I’ll still get a great race boat while there would be room for occasional cruising and ok for kids.
