Backstay rebuild

Post by jabrams »

We developed a backstay leak. Does anyone know which rebuild kit works on this backstay? Says is custom for 109.

Thank you.

These two Sailtec documents are posted on the J/109 site under "Info", "Drawings & Manuals". It is J/109 Custom based on the -10 size with the Sailtec part number -10CUSTOM (J-109). Part numbers for the seal kits are:
  • 42000 Integral Pump
  • 42010 -10 Cylinder
This is a link to a 2008 Brochure with various parts.

Have you checked a marine supply store?

Hello all. I am wondering where I could find the correct backstay replacement for one that was replaced but is no longer serviceable. Could anyone provide me a link to where I could purchase a new one? Thank you
