Does anyone have thoughts on or experience with installing soft deck material on a J109?
Aquatraction or similar? Is it class legal? Does it hold up well? How does the installation work?
Thanks,
Charlie

Re: Soft deck material
Charlie,
I see no reason why this would not be class legal but will ask the technical committee to review and provide a formal response. I have no experience with the application or longevity but have seen boats that used Soft-Deck. It looked good , had a good grip and was comfortable to walk on.

I have had thoughts about installing some kind of grab bar over the companionway instruments, making it easier to traverse and reducing the frequency people touch the displays.
