Sharing how to resolve issues with the spreaders getting too lose. I didn't have the upgrade so I needed new doubles and bars.
The parts can be sourced from Winchard/SparCraft. If they are not on the shelf, it takes about 3-4 weeks to machine/make. Newport Rigging then did the install.
Just an FYI, they plan on providing an updated J/109 spar manual. Also, they communicated that they fully support the J109 class with masts, booms, spare parts and repair options. They have three masts with all cut-outs for parts, etc complete and just in need to assemble.

Re: Mast Spreader Doublers and Bars
I am curious what you are talking about. Could you elaborate? Thanks, dan!
Re: Mast Spreader Doublers and Bars
Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures after the fix. The photo below is where the spreader intersected with the mast. There was a lot of wobble at this connection and you can see the spreader bar holding the spreader was starting to wear on the mast.
The spreader bar was replaced and now there are doubler plates that protect this surface of the mast.
