Best method to secure tackline to kite?

We have a tylaska J-Lock on our tack line that can grab other lines during a kite launch.

Has anyone had better success with the standard tylaska shackles or soft shackle?

We use the 2nd shackle and never had a problem like you describe.

Ditto. We use the tylaska snap. No snags.
