I want to share how highly I think of Crew Manager, the application Bill Kneller created and sells. Since my team and I started using it, I make fewer communication mistakes with crew, spend less time coordinating logistics, and on the whole, more crew are participating in races, 20% or more by my estimate.
If you are curious, Practical Sailor published my review of Crew Manager here with scoring comparing it to generic google tools and others:
https://www.practical-sailor.com/marine ... -compared/
At the end of the article there is a comparison via google sheets. Of the more than 38 features compared in Crew Manager, only 11 features can be done practically in google sheets. When looking at a subset of the 5 most valuable features compared, Crew Manager has all 5, Team Snap has 3, and google sheets has just 1, that feature of crew tracking capability being extremely basic in google sheets.
Crew Manager
How to make the boat go faster or compete within the Class.
