J/109 Pequot Invitational

Entry to the J/109 Pequot Invitational on Aug 7-8, 2021 is live! This event has gained real interest and is known to be a really fun regatta. The Invitational is for all amateur boats, no pros. We also encourage new comers to the regatta scene to come try out racing. We’ll go one step further: if you need sails to race, we will find them for you. For the regular racers, we strongly encourage you to leave your race sails at home and bring your back up sails. 

 

After the racing is over, expect some cool refreshments and a Saturday night cookout – simple, easy, and relaxing. 

 

And for those hot shot sailors, we expect you to share some tips with the new comers. Its a healthy way to keep our fleet strong and vibrant.

Dockage and moorings are included in the entry fee. Waivers are mandatory. Dinner tickets are sold on site. Drink tickets are also available once the complimentary beverages have been exhausted. 

 

For those who like to plan ahead, Pequot will be hosting the North American Championships next year in October. The Invitational is a great way to check out the location ahead of time.
