The J/109 Class Association Forum

Hi all,

I'm a relatively new owner of hull #254 in SF Bay and we're 100% PHRF out here. I'm curious if anyone is carrying their anchor in spots other than the anchor locker? I'm interested in getting that weight out of the bow, but haven't found a manageable way to conveniently secure the anchor elsewhere.

For every day use I keep it under the holding tank aft stbd. For serious racing it is lashed to the table right over the keel.
