Cockpit Showers

Post by fxalbert »

I had the mixer in the cockpit shower break off and fall down inside the boat. Actually the fiberglass cup disintegrated due to UV and the weight of the mixer lines was enough to pull the back of the cup off leaving just the outside rim. I found a place that sells a cup that fits the hole in the boat and will fit the mixer as well. https://www.replacementboatparts.com/bo ... ponly.aspx

Just replaced mine with the one from Defender as they are an exact match for the factory ones. Be sure to order one of each type or be prepared to have to re-use the inner piece of the handle flange as a reducer.

Also, the covers mentioned in that other thread are well worth the couple extra $$.
