Does anyone know who stocks replacement internal magnesium anodes for the sail drive? I sail in Freshwater. Perhaps I should just replace it with the basic zinc version, which seems to be more available.

In fresh water you absolutely need to use the correct anodes or the aluminum saildrive will take on the role of the sacrificial part. Any Yanmar dealer will have the magnesium anodes you need. Mackboring.com definitely sells them, though I just go through our local yard RCR yachts in Buffalo.
They should be changed annually as once they degrade too badly they can fall apart inside the saildrive or can require some serious work to remove. Ours is pretty eaten up each year, which means it's doing its job.
