Has anyone had to replace the port traveler cam-cleat- the one on the vertical side of the cockpit (see illustration below)?
After 23 years both my starboard and port Harken traveler cam-cleats have failed. The starboard one is easy to replace. At first I thought I could get access to the port one through the LPG locker, but you can't, it's aft of it. It could be just removing the headliner in the port quarter-berth, but on first inspection it appears to line up outside of the quarter berth behind the woodwork.
Before I go and dismantle the headline or try and squeeze into the section of the boat, just seeing if anyone had a shortcut. If not is there a way to fix them without taking the cleat apart? It appears to be the spring, so I'll try some lube first just to see if the spring is gummed up.
Thanks, just trying to not turn this into a major project.

Re: Traveler Port Cam Cleat Replacement
Jerry,
I replaced mine in 2016 and I think the headliner was dropped to access the hardware.
