Tweaker for Code 0

Post by Mvallus »

I am curious as to how others have set up or positioned a tweaker for their Code Zeros. Any consensus on where this should be added, if at all?

I setup a folding padeye in between the "h" formed by the forward gates. A snatch block with cam cleats is attached there and I use Holt Allen #4475 snatch blocks. Yes - you really do need tweakers for tight angles with the code 0.

Good idea. Through-bolted or screwed in?

Definitely through bolted with shoulder washers. Good deal at Defender sale going on now for these Wichard folding padeyes $49.49 each.

ps - I've seen other people clip blocks on the welded reinforcements on a stanchion base. I have also seen some of these break the welds so suggest that a padeye be installed rather than using the stanchion base for attachment.
