SS rod below backstay hydraulic pump

Post by TSweather »

This year the yard damaged the SS rod below the backstay adjuster while it was removed to allow the Travel Lift access to lift the boat. While they have agreed to remedy the issue, does anyone know who made this part or where to find a replacement? Charleston Spars, Navtec, Rigrite, Schaefer, White Water Marine? Couldn't find anything more than a reference to it in the documentation section of this site.

Thanks for any input, Todd

Todd,

I don't know if the rod below the hydraulics is standard or custom. I didn't see anything online. You know Skip Mattos at Harken. I'd give Skip a call and see if he knows of a source. If not, it could be fabricated from a local machine shop using the old one as a guide.
