Sold: Marine Electronics For Sale (Raymarine, Nexus, B&G, West Marine)

Post by Vento Solare »

It is time to sell equipment removed from Vento Solare that is collecting in my basement as various upgrades are done. The following are available at the prices listed, plus shipping cost. I've included groups of equipment so you can purchase a group for a better deal than individual items.

Summary here with details and pictures below. Send me an email if you are interested in anything. bill@j109.org
This is the link to the Google photos, if you have a problem seeing the images below.

$75 - West Marine WM4000 AM/FM Stereo with RF30 RF Remote Control. This includes the mounting gasket, trim ring, RF and IR remote control, all wire harnesses, microphone for hands free, and manuals. The radio fits in a standard DIN enclosure and works well. It has Bluetooth so you may stream music from your phone, built in weather band radio, and auxiliary audio inputs.

Sold! $275 - B&G T41 Triton Display. Includes a T41 Triton display, mounting ring, display cover and manuals. This is a NMEA 2000 compatible display.

Sold! $275 - NX2 FDX Server. This is the brains for the Nexus system and includes the manual. It's a pretty good performance system you can build on a budget. Too bad that Nexus gear has been discontinued and replaced with other Garmin stuff. They don't have a Garmin equivalent for the NX2 server. The server drives displays on the Nexus RS485 bus. Sensors are either analog (depth and speed) or on the RS485 bus (HPC Compass, gWind transducer). Garmin offers the GND-10 black box that will interface the Nexus RS485 system bus to a NMEA 2000 bus. There is a NMEA 0183 interface for both input and output. The output sentences may be set with specific sentences to meet system needs. I had all this working well with Raymaine and B&G equipment.

Sold! $300 - (2) Multicontrol Display & (1) Wind Data Display. These were mounted on the sprayhood. One Multicontrol display has the left two buttons inoperable, but the display may be controlled by another multicontrol display on the network. Included are the displays, display covers, manual and interconnection cables.

$450 - Nexus Garmin gWind Race Transducer. This was installed on the mast for two years and was fully operational when is was removed. It connects to the Nexus RS485 bus. This is the tall transducer with 1 meter carbon pole.

$150 - Nexus HPC Compass. This transmits accurate bearings on the Nexus RS485 bus, but was having issues with heel and pitch. Apparently there are ways this can be recalibrated, but I gave up trying to figure it out. The compass has a connector integral to the housing with an attached cable. The cable is approximately 12 feet. Garmin also offers this cable since it is the same connector used on the GND10. Included is the compass, attached cable and manual.

Sold! $50 - 200kHz Nexus TH52 Depth Transducer. This is a standard 200 kHz piezoelectric transducer with Airmar part number 31-243-2-01. The attached cable is approximately 20 feet long and connects to the Nexus NX2 server. Included with the transducer is the manual and a new housing with blanking plug that allows through-hull mounting. This is standard size compatible with many existing through hulls.

Sold! $300 - Raymarine S1G Autopilot (complete system excluding drive). The pilot computer was upgraded with the yaw sensor which allows the system to be very responsive in wind and waves. All components when removed had the cables pulled the entire length and may be reused. The components in the system include the Raymarine S1G Autopilot including ST6001 Smartpilot Controller mounted on custom Starboard box for mounting below deck, , M81190 Fluxgate Compass, M1105 Rotary Rudder Angle Sensor with aluminum mounting bracket, E15203 Wireless Smart Remote with Base Station, Raymarine manuals and pouch. All that is needed to complete the Autopilot install is a drive unit.

Sold! $50 - Raymarine E22158 Seatalk to SeatalkNG Converter with Cables. This allows older Seatalk equipment to interface with SeatalkNG (NMEA 2000) equipment. It was interfaced with the NMEA 2000 bus and includes a custom cable that has a SeatalkNG connector on one end and a male Micro C connector on the other end. It also includes manual, power cable, Seatalk cable (flying leads one end) and bus terminators. This was used to interface the S1G pilot to the NMEA 2000 bus.

Sold! $600 - Raymarine e125 Multifunction Display with NAVPOD enclosure. This display has the latest Lighthouse II software with advanced sailing functions. It worked well and allowed direct control of the S1G Autopilot. The display is mounted in a NAVPOD enclosure that fits on a standard 9.5" wide pedestal. The NAVPOD has a hole in the bottom where a Standard Horizon remote mic connector was mounted. This hole may be plugged. The display may use Navionics, CMAP or Lighthouse charts on a MicroSD card. These are not included with the display. Item included are the Power Cable, SeatalkNG to NMEA2000 cable, SeatalkHS to RJ45 Ethernet cable, display cover and manuals.
