Anyone interested in buying a Garmin GPS 478 with the GXM 30 antenna?

This is a dual use portable GPS device that works on the boat and the car. The GXM 30 antenna is for receiving Sirius weather data and music.

I bought it last December just before Raymarine came out with the Sirius antenna for my C80.

I've only used it a couple times in the car.

An independent question- I just bought the 478 (about two weeks before your notice). I like the unit, but I'm not getting the battery life it states. On the spec it says up to 12-13 hours w/o GXM. I can only get 6-8 max charge. I even had one replaced and same thing. Do they really get over 10 hr of a charge???
