Forum Guidelines & Etiquette

Welcome to the J/109 Forum!
It was created for owners and crew of J/109s to share experiences and tips on maintaining and sailing their yachts, as well as to exchange information and ideas on J/109 related topics and class activities.
Please use common sense and decency when using the Forum. This is not Sailing Anarchy. Consider the words of the Curmudgeon on Sailing Scuttlebutt -- "save your bashing, whining and personal attacks for elsewhere." When posts go over the line, they will be removed and posting privileges placed in jeopardy. Censorship is not a going to be used lightly, but leaving such messages on the Forum can only hurt the Class.
There is a good deal that can be learned about formatting messages from the FAQ link located in the upper left on every page. Check there if you would like to add a little pizzazz to your post. There is a separate message in this Guidelines section on posting images.
