Bidding is closed – we have a winner!
North Sails has donated a new One Design 3Di RAW 760s Mainsail with a luff bolt rope to the J/109 Class. The sail will be auctioned with the split proceeds going to the J/109 Class to defray the 2018 J/109 North American Championship expenses. The winning bidder will provide the desired sail numbers upon notification of the winning bid with payment made via a check payable to the J/109 Class Association. The new sail will be delivered in either 2018 or 2019 as desired by the winner.
The auction process is as follows:
- The minimum bid is $5,000
- Check the current bid located on the J/109 Class Website
- Submit an email to mainsail2018auction@j109.org with your name, email address, phone number and the amount of your bid.
- The J/109 Class Website will be updated to display the bidder’s name and amount of highest bid received each day.
- In the case of bids submitted from multiple people with the same value, the earlier time stamped email will be used
- Multiple bids may be submitted online through 4pm local New York time Friday 19 October 2018.
- The Auction will be completed with the winner notified via email and announced on the J/109 Class Website.
