I am being told by a few riggers that I should have my rod ends redone since the boat is about 13 years old. I have not heard of any J109s having an issue or losing a rig due to rod failures. What have people experienced or have had done to their rigs and rod.

Both European and US designed stations are allowed per the class rules. Switching from one style to another is permitted. The size, height and weight must be equivalent. Any modifications that are outside of the 2 designs are not permitted.

Mast tracks are allowed in J109 class events. The main sail used in the mast track must comply with class rules and have a registered class sail tag on the sail. The mast rack must be firmly affixed to the mast and mot be modifiable or adjusted during the race.
