Re: Bilge pump replacement
Has anyone found a pump that lasts more than a few seasons? It seems like every time I need to replace a pump due to a faulty float switch.

Re: SD-20 Zinc Anodes
Thanks, Bill.
I tried the port side chain plate for my grouper - I don't think it was working very well. I will try the port side stern rail this summer.
PS - sorry Hull #250 - I am Hull #240

Re: rudder collar repair
There are a lot of experts on this forum - and I am sure they will weigh in. But I would not go anywhere with the collar looking like that. I would worry about too much potential movement of the rudder post that may cause damage to other parts of the rudder system.

Re: 12V freezer/fridge
I always have a problem with my refrigeration turned up to high. Yesterday I found a frozen bottle of Evian on the shelf. Granted I am plugged in while I am not using the boat. Have you tried turning down the temp?

I have hull #240 - built in 2005. When I bought the boat - the lock nut just inside the wheel hub used to wiggle loose. We added some loctite and it stayed in place. If my memory is correct, the lock nut did not rotate when you turned the wheel.
Now it does - and the wheel always has some play in ...

Re: Bubbles
Thanks. I bit frustrating after all of this time. I suppose I will need to have the hull tapped to see what else is lurking beneath.

This just happened to Hull #240 - 2005 vintage. Has anyone seen anything similar? Yard thinks it was a void beneath the gelcoat that had water in it than froze. I am a little skeptical . . .
