any notion of where to get a replacement, looking like its close to time.

Edson makes them and sold numerous places. Edson Leather Wheel Cover 733-42-60-GR or 733CG-42-60-GR (Comfort Grip). I bought mine at Defender.

I replaced mine last year, not very hard but does take quite a while and is a bit tedious. If you wet the leather it should be easier to stretch over the wheel. I figured that out a little too late, would have probably been much easier had I known that.
