The Great Lakes Fleet is very, very pleased to report that in the first three weeks registration has been open that 16 J109’s have already registered for the event – including boats from three of the five Great Lakes and from as far away as Connecticut! The fleet hopes to add several more for what is shaping up to be a truly epic event. Please check the event website www.J109Chicago.org for further information.
One local J109 is currently available for charter for the event so if interested please contact fleet captain Pete Priede at ppriede@comcast.net for more information soon. Additionally, if hauling your boat to Chicago is an option please check the “Visiting Captains” section of the event website for discounted rigging, free docking information and accommodations packages.
