I recently replaced my BEP Marine DC Monitor. About a week later, the screen went black and I assume the unit died. This is my second unit. Without stretching, I know this should not happen. I have two house batteries and one start battery.

I have heard (although admittedly I'm a newbie J owner) that the monitors on 109's are notorious for not working. Has anyone been successful with the BEP unit or has it been determined that they don't work and subsequently J has upgraded to a more reliable unit?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

I have a BEP monitor - I haven't had problems with it. I know that the monitors on the 109's have changed a bit. Some have Xantrex and some BEP - I think the new hulls have the Xantrex. I know this isn't much in the way of help - but keep us posted on what you find.
