Bow Sprit Glass End Fitting Cracked

Having trawled our kite recently we noticed that he fibreglass end fitting on the sprit was cracked around the U bolt attachment point. Looks like it will not last much longer. We can of course glass over it, but are wondering if anybody has had to replace the fibreglass end fitting in its entirety and how to do that?
